alternative to seasonal alergies

Globalpharma has announced a new alternative medicine to seasonal alergies. They have finalized a licensing agreement with the French drug company, Ethypharm, which allows them marketing and distribution rights to the antihistamine Cetirizine which works by blocking histamine.

Cetirizine is used to ease symptoms of hay fever, seasonal alergies, dust mites, animal dander, itchy eyes, and molds.

Ethypharm will develop the medicine in tablet form using a patented technology that makes it easier to swallow plus being better tasting.

If you don't like tablets, you can find the drug available in alternative syrup forms from other companies.

Before taking Cetirizine in any form, you should first check with your doctor to ensure that you are not allergic to it. Caution is also advised for pregnant women and those who have kidney or liver disease.
